How to wash a stainless steel water bottle
Cleaning a stainless steel bottle is a subject that creates doubt because, as you may already know, and if not, we'll explain it here: it's not recommended to wash a water bottle in a dishwasher. Stainless steel bottles should be washed by hand. We'll explain in more detail how best to wash this type of bottle.
Fill the bottle halfway with lukewarm water and a little detergent. A few drops of soap are sufficient. Then close the bottle, make sure the stopper is screwed on tightly and shake it vigorously for a few seconds (at least 10 seconds). All that's left is to unscrew the stopper and empty the now much cleaner bottle.
You can repeat this process a few more times if you want to clean it even more thoroughly. For drying, place the bottle uncapped and upside down where you normally put your wet items to dry.
If you want an even more thorough cleaning, you can use a long brush. These are very long brushes that allow you to scrub even the deepest and most inaccessible parts of your steel bottle. This method is particularly recommended if the bottle has been used for liquids other than natural water (coffee, soft drinks, etc.).
Of course, let's not forget the lid. Especially if it is a screw cap. In this case, you can use a sponge moistened in soapy water and scrub the bottle inside and out, trying to access the inner areas of the thread.
As you can see, it is easy to wash a stainless steel bottle without using the dishwasher, as the product can be quickly damaged by such aggressive washing at high temperature for such a long time.
This type of bottle is so popular because the material is safe, keeps the temperature of the liquids cool and does not change the taste. It is very common for use at home, at work, on trips, in schools ... In short, it is a multi-purpose product.
If you need a bottle that is also particularly original, either as a gift or for yourself, we recommend that you take a look at the personalised steel bottles that we have for sale in the Wanapix online shop:
