Description

Engraved cheese board: an ideal gift for gourmets

If you are a cheese lover or know someone who is, you've come to the right place. Our personalised cheese board is much more than just a simple kitchen utensil; it is a elegant handmade gift that will transform gastronomic experiences into memorable moments. With this cheese board, not only can you enjoy your favourite cheeses, but you can also do it with style and personality, thanks to the engraving that you can add on the board.

This personalised cheese board is a complete set that consists of four stainless steel utensils with elegant wooden handles. These utensils are designed to cover all your needs when cutting and serving cheese. They include knives of different sizes and shapes, which we will explain in detail below.

The highlight of this cheese board is its practical wooden utensilstorage. The top of the cheeseboard is a wooden cutting board that is perfectly adapted to your preparation needs. When you are not using the utensils, you can easily store them in the lower part of the board so that they are well preserved and do not get lost or damaged, like they could be when they are loose in a drawer.

Personalisation to the consumer's taste

The highlight of our cheese board is the personalisable zone on the cutting board (which acts as the lid of the board). This is where you can be creative and personalise it according to your taste. You can engrave a name, a special message or an important date that is significant for you or for the person you are thinking of giving it to, as well as an image or a logo, which is ideal for restaurants or hotels that want to add their logo on this board and thus take care of even the smallest detail.

Engraved cheese board

Our personalisation process is simple and uncomplicated. Simply design in our editor the details of what you want to engrave on the cheese board and our team will take care of the rest. We use advanced engraving techniques to ensure that your design is impeccable and resistant over time.

Description of the knives included in this cheese set

Our cheese set includes 4 different types of cheese knives, which are widely used for cutting different types of cheeses. All of them are made of stainless steel, with a wooden handle. We explain the name of each knife and its function:

Cheese fork

This is the utensil with two long prongs, its function is that of a "fork", to prick the cheese and serve it more easily. It is usually used simultaneously with another knife, so that the knife is used to cut the cheese and then the fork is used to serve it or place it on the tray or plate.

Wide flat knife

Also known as a chisel, it is a kind of wide, sharp and straight shovel, very versatile, intended to deal with firm cheeses from which to cut pieces of medium or thinner thickness.

By placing the blade vertically across the surface of the cheese and pressing downwards, clean slices can be obtained. Ideal for semi-soft or semi-hard cheeses, such as emmental, semi-cured or provolone and asiago style cheeses.

Machete or axe-type knife

It is similar to the previous one, with a spade shape, but narrower and rectangular in shape. They are perfect for cutting hard compact cheeses such as cheddar or gruyére. They should always be very sharp, and should be used on pieces of cheese of the same width as the knife, in order to be able to cut a whole piece with a single downward movement.

Knives and cheese cutting tools

Teardrop or half-hearted knife

As its name suggests, this knife is the one that has a teardrop shape. Also known as "awl", this tool is used to cut very hard, compact and granular cheeses into cubes. In other words, for aged and matured cheeses that cannot be cut cleanly, such as Parmesan, Manchego or Grana Padano in "rocks".

You can cut the cheese wedge by inserting this knife into the cheese, so that the resulting pieces will be irregular. It is ideal for cutting small pieces of cheese to accompany salads, or small cubes to serve as an appetizer.

The perfect gift for cheese lovers, a special kind of food

Do you know someone who is always looking for new varieties of cheese to taste? Someone who enjoys a good cheese board in the company of friends and family? Our personalised cheese board is the perfect gift for them. Whether it's for a birthday, anniversary, wedding or any special occasion, this unique and personalised gift shows that you've thought of every detail.

And cheese is not just another product. It is a food that enjoys a great reputation and is regarded with a certain elegance for a number of reasons that go back to history, culinary tradition and its own intrinsic qualities. From mild, creamy brie and camembert to intense, mature cheddar and gorgonzola, there is something for everyone. This diversity of flavours and textures allows the cheese to adapt to different dishes and pairings, making it a highly appreciated culinary ingredient.

Additionally, cheese has a long history dating back to ancient civilisations, such as the Egyptians and the Greeks. Its manufacture and consumption has been part of the gastronomic culture of many regions of the world for centuries. This rich tradition gives it an aura of authenticity and sophistication.

Perfect gift for cheese lovers

Another reason that gives the cheese an air of premium food is that the production of cheese is considered to be pure art. The master cheesemakers use techniques and knowledge passed down from generation to generation to create high quality cheeses. Fermentation, ageing and other processes involved in cheese making are aspects that require skill and experience.
