Popular envelope formats
We have the most standard formats for envelopes. Each of these envelopes has a standard size for a specific reason, either to fit certain document sizes, or to meet the weight and dimensional requirements of postal items. The formats available are:
American DL envelope (110x220)
The DL envelope (110x220 mm), also called "American envelope", is one of the most commonly used envelopes, and is mainly used for sending invoices, business letters and general documentation. Its size is perfectly adapted to an A4 sheet (folio) folded in 3 equal parts, making it very practical for this type of mailing.
C5 envelopes (162x229 mm)
C5 envelopes, also called "quarto size envelopes", are designed to fit exactly one A4 sheet folded in half (or one A5 sheet unfolded), which makes them a very practical size for when you want to send several A4 sheets in the same envelope. This will allow you to send your documents, invitations, cards, etc. safely and securely. It is slightly larger than the American DL envelope.
Commercial Envelope (120x176)
The business envelope (120x176 mm) is a small envelope, ideal for sending business cards, postcards and other small documents. It is also used for bulk mailings, as its size meets the weight and dimension requirements for the most economical mailings.
Square envelopes
This format is more popular for the delivery of wedding invitations and other events, and not so much for mailings. They are used to insert flyers or square postcards, a more original format and used for Christmas and birthday greetings, weddings, christenings, communions, etc.
